Whole thing is going wrong
Little air in this converted cellar-apartment. Air outside is filthy, windows open very little and on to pavement (in bedroom) so I keep window closed. Living room window opens very little and on to a messed up wild grass growth-mud based backyard but I keep that open (as far as it goes).

I'm moving out Aug 1st.

I bought a large air purifier for this little bedroom.

Not much air in bedroom. I use a box fan, I don't use the humidifier. The M series Respironics auto bpap was set for 20/4 but 4 was too low so I set it to 20/12.

I wake up after maybe an hour or two and the E is still on 12. I stop inhaling when I fall asleep (still having episodes, a very high AHI) but there is little air coming through and is that because of the little amount of air circulating in the room? Because of the air purifier?

I'm exhausted but can't fall asleep and I almost always (at any time and anywhere) wake up at sleep onset because I stop breathing, usually takes a sleeping pill to put me to sleep. Didn't use one tonight but I only get 4 hours max from a pill and same problems when I wake up including lack of air and high AHI.

Other problem is that air pressure doesn't rise on this machine. I can't prove to anyone that the machine is defective but my DME and doctor claim that the machine "works fine" and that I shouldn't bother them about it anymore as the tech "saw" that the machine was "working". Actually tech offered to exchange machine (with "new" one which wasn't in a box) then he balked when I said ok as he didn't want to go through resetting all pressures..................doctor had me on 20/4 even though all episodes stopped at 19 at my titration.............He set my ramp to 45 minutes, ramp didn't work and then noticed I was waking up at 6/4 each night.

I had forgotten about this post. Yes Destiny health has pissed me off on several occasions. The last one being that they have decided that I only need 15 pills, when 30 were prescribed. Mind you this is bickering over $18 but its the principle. They are apparently still renting my bipap machine instead of paying for it. I would think with a $1500 deductible + 20% they would be reasonable. Show me a health insurance company that doesn't suck and I'll show you socialized medicine.

We have had nothing but problems with Destiny. From the Employer perspective and Employee perspective. Destiny has repeatedly claimed not to have received termination requests; new employee requests; takes months to credit billing; slow claims pay; constantly having to dispute denied claims; now their claiming that our premium check bounced 9 months ago which contradicts the cashed check that we have. It has been a nightmare. No one can make a decision. We had one employee with a prenatal baby that Destiny denied coverage for which literally jeopardized the childs life. We canceled coverage an went with a new insurance company last November and we're still fighting to get our HRA funds. Stay away from Destiny.
