We have had nothing but problems with Destiny. From the Employer perspective and Employee perspective. Destiny has repeatedly claimed not to have received termination requests; new employee requests; takes months to credit billing; slow claims pay; constantly having to dispute denied claims; now their claiming that our premium check bounced 9 months ago which contradicts the cashed check that we have. It has been a nightmare. No one can make a decision. We had one employee with a prenatal baby that Destiny denied coverage for which literally jeopardized the childs life. We canceled coverage an went with a new insurance company last November and we’re still fighting to get our HRA funds. Stay away from Destiny.
I had forgotten about this post. Yes Destiny health has pissed me off on several occasions. The last one being that they have decided that I only need 15 pills, when 30 were prescribed. Mind you this is bickering over $18 but its the principle. They are apparently still renting my bipap machine instead of paying for it. I would think with a $1500 deductible + 20% they would be reasonable. Show me a health insurance company that doesn’t suck and I’ll show you socialized medicine.
